Terms of use and risk disclosure

Last updated 7 October 2026

In short. Rivemont is software. It sends only the orders you place, or that your own bots place, to your own Hyperliquid account. We never hold your money and cannot send it anywhere but back to your own wallet. Trading perpetual futures can lose money, including all of it. Nothing here is financial advice. By using the app you accept these terms.

1. What Rivemont is

Rivemont provides a website with market data and guides, and an app with trading tools for the Hyperliquid account you connect: trading bots you set up and control, on Hyperliquid's crypto perpetual futures and its HIP-3 stock and commodity markets, and a Trading terminal for the orders you place by hand. Rivemont does not trade for anyone and does not decide your trades. Rivemont is not a broker, exchange, bank, fund manager or investment adviser. We do not take deposits, hold customer assets or pool anyone's money.

Copy trading, vault deposits (Earn), Convert and trading on exchanges other than Hyperliquid are no longer offered. Where an earlier user can still reach one of them, it is provided as is, and these terms, including the risks in section 3, still apply to it.

2. Your accounts, your keys, your decisions

  • You connect an account you own on Hyperliquid, a third-party exchange. Your funds stay there.
  • On Hyperliquid you approve a trade-only API wallet. By Hyperliquid's design it can place orders but cannot withdraw. For Earn, open only to earlier users, Rivemont also uses it to move money between your Hyperliquid account and the vault you chose, only after your wallet signs that request.
  • Rivemont stores that API wallet's key encrypted and uses it to place and cancel your orders. A withdrawal is sent only when you sign that request in your wallet, and only to your own wallet. Keys kept from exchanges no longer offered stay encrypted until you disconnect them or stop the app. The Help Center shows what the key can do.
  • You choose every trade and bot, the amount, the leverage and the stop. You can stop any of them at any time; stopping everything closes the positions your bots opened (and those of any copy you still run) and deletes your API keys from our servers.
  • Your Rivemont sign-in key (the Login key in Settings) is your login. It only signs you in to Rivemont: it is not your wallet's private key or seed phrase, and it cannot send your funds to anyone else. Keep it private: anyone who has it can change your bot settings.

3. Risks you accept

  • Market risk. Your own trades, bots and signals take full market risk: prices can move against you fast. Hedged bots (for example Market Neutral) are not risk-free: one leg can be liquidated in a sharp move, the two markets can drift apart, and funding rates can turn against a position.
  • Stock and commodity markets (HIP-3). These markets are run on Hyperliquid by third-party deployers, who set their price sources and rules and can change or halt them. They can trade while the underlying market is closed, so their prices can gap and differ from it.
  • Leverage and liquidation. Perpetual futures use leverage. A position can be liquidated and its margin lost.
  • Execution risk. Orders may fill partly, late or at worse prices than expected, especially on thinly traded coins.
  • Exchange and technology risk. Exchanges can go down, change their rules, be hacked or fail. Our software can have bugs and our servers can be unavailable. Either can cause missed exits or losses.
  • Features no longer offered. If you still use one: a copied trader's past results do not predict theirs or yours, and they may change behaviour at any time; a vault (Earn) trades with the money deposited in it and can lose some or all of it, its withdrawals can be locked for a period, and a withdrawal can come back lower; a Convert swap goes through third-party routes, bridges and token contracts that Rivemont does not control, and its price can move up to the slippage you set.
  • Backtests and paper results are simulations. They leave out costs and conditions that real trading has, and they tend to look better than real results.
  • Past results do not predict future results. You may lose some or all of the money in the connected accounts.

4. Fees

The app is free to use. Rivemont charges a fee on trades. Trades (your bots' orders and the orders you place in the Trading terminal): from 0.1% of each fill sent through Rivemont, lower with your trading volume through Rivemont over the last 30 days, as the tiers on the Fees page show. Hyperliquid collects it together with its own fee, and it never exceeds the maximum you approved in your wallet. Points tiers and welcome offers can lower the trading fee too, as the app shows; where a volume tier and a Points tier both apply, the lower fee applies. Convert, open only to earlier users, shows any Rivemont fee on each quote before you sign (at most 0.25% of the amount converted); Earn carries no Rivemont fee. Hyperliquid's own fees, funding payments and network fees, and a vault leader's share of profit or route fees where they apply, are separate and charged by others. We may change our fees for new trades after giving notice in the app.

5. Who may use it

You must be at least 18 and legally allowed to trade perpetual futures where you live. The app is not offered in countries under comprehensive sanctions. Exchanges may exclude other countries (for example the United States) in their own terms: if you use an exchange from such a country, you do so at your own risk and you alone are responsible for meeting that exchange's terms. By signing up you confirm that you meet these conditions. We block access from those countries where we can, but we cannot see where you really are: if you reach the app through a VPN, proxy or anything else that hides your location, you do so at your own risk and you alone are responsible for any breach of the law or of an exchange's terms, and for any loss that follows (for example an exchange freezing your account). If we learn that you do not meet these conditions we may stop the app for you; your money stays in your own exchange accounts. You are responsible for your own taxes.

6. Information we keep

  • A hash of your Rivemont sign-in key, your wallet address, your bot and copy settings and a record of the orders sent through Rivemont.
  • The keys or API wallets of the exchanges you connect, stored encrypted, until you disconnect that exchange or stop the app.
  • Your Telegram user ID and chat ID if you link Telegram or message @rivemont_bot, and the email address or Telegram name you leave on the Join page if you ask us for news.
  • Standard server logs. We do not sell data and do not use advertising trackers.

Stopping the app deletes your API keys. To have your remaining records deleted, write to contact@rivemont.xyz or ask us on Telegram. The details are in the privacy policy.

7. No advice, no guarantee

Everything on Rivemont (market data, rankings, guides, backtests, alerts) is general information, not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. The software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Rivemont is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or losses caused by exchanges, blockchains, third-party services, market conditions, or interruptions and errors in the software. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fees you paid to Rivemont in the three months before the event. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and material changes are announced in the app. Questions: contact@rivemont.xyz, or @rivemont_bot on Telegram.
