Rivemont for AI agents

Rivemont offers a free, public MCP server. Add it to any AI assistant or app that supports MCP and it can read live Hyperliquid funding rates, the best hedged funding trades after fees and our daily reports, straight from the same data as the live board.

Server URLhttps://rivemont.xyz/mcp

Streamable HTTP transport. No sign-up and no key. Read-only: it cannot place orders and never sees an account.

What your agent can do

get_funding_ratesLive funding rate of every perp market, by coin: hourly rate, APR, volume, open interest.
top_opportunitiesThe best hedged funding trades right now, after fees, ranked the way the board ranks them.
compare_venuesOne coin's funding in detail, plus its best hedged pairs.
list_venuesThe market data Rivemont reads, its fees and whether the last scan reached it.
get_daily_reportThe daily funding snapshot for any day (or the latest).
explain_funding_carryA short explainer of funding rates and the hedged funding trade, with a guide link.

Every answer carries its data timestamp and a link back to rivemont.xyz. Rates are annualised snapshots of hourly funding, not forecasts or promised returns. Not financial advice.

Add it to your assistant

Any AI assistant or app that supports MCP can use it. In its settings, look for connectors, MCP servers or tools, add a new server, paste the server URL and leave authentication empty. Menu names differ from app to app and change from time to time.

Apps set up with a config file

Most apps that read an MCP config file take this shape:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "rivemont": {
      "url": "https://rivemont.xyz/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Some name the list servers and ask for the transport type:

{
  "servers": {
    "rivemont": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://rivemont.xyz/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Command-line tools

Tools with an mcp add command usually take the transport, a name and the URL, after the tool's own name:

<tool> mcp add --transport http rivemont https://rivemont.xyz/mcp

Clients that only run local servers

A client that only runs local (stdio) servers can reach it through the mcp-remote bridge:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "rivemont": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y",
        "mcp-remote",
        "https://rivemont.xyz/mcp"
      ]
    }
  }
}

Example prompts

  • "What are the three best hedged funding trades right now, after fees?"
  • "How has BTC funding on Hyperliquid moved this week?"
  • "Which coins have the most negative funding on Hyperliquid today?"
  • "Summarise yesterday's Rivemont funding report."
  • "Is any hedged pair above 20% a year net of fees right now?"
  • "Explain funding-rate arbitrage and its risks in two paragraphs."

Limits

  • 60 calls a minute per IP address. Data refreshes every 5 minutes, so polling faster gains nothing.
  • Answers are capped in size; lists say truncated when they were cut. Ask for one coin to narrow them.
  • Public data only: no accounts, balances, keys or personal data exist on this server.

Trading through agents comes later. The next steps are read-only access to your own Rivemont account, then trading, where every order is shown as a preview for you to confirm, inside hard limits you set (size, value, coin list), with a read-only mode and one-click disconnect. Keys stay as limited as they are in the app today: they place and cancel orders, and can never send your money to anyone else.
