Market-hours grid bot
The Market-hours grid runs only on Hyperliquid's stock and commodity markets (HIP-3).
More
It knows when the real market behind the price is open: a tighter grid while it is open, and out of hours it pauses new entries or uses wider steps, as you choose.
When to use it
When you want to grid a stock or commodity (TSLA, NVDA, gold, oil …) without being caught by thin overnight prices and weekend gaps.
Settings
Every bot trades in your own Hyperliquid account. In the setup you pick the market, the amount and the leverage; Safe, Balanced and Aggressive fill in the rest from the coin's own volatility, and Customize settings opens every setting below. Rivemont's fee is from 0.1% per fill, lower with your 30-day volume, plus Hyperliquid's own trading fee.
- Direction
- Neutral, Long or Short, as in the Volatility grid.
- Step, market open
- The gap between lines while the market is open, in % (up to 20%).
- Lines
- How many orders (2 to 100), centred on the price.
- Out of hours
- Pause new entries (no new positions out of hours and on weekends; closing orders stay) or Wider steps (the grid is laid again wider).
- Step, out of hours
- With Wider steps: the gap out of hours, which must be wider than the open-market step.
- Close before the weekend / Close … min before
- Closes everything 5 to 720 minutes before the price stops for the weekend and starts again when the market reopens.
- Gap guard
- After the weekend it waits (Wait after the open, 0 to 1,440 minutes) before opening new positions, and starts the grid again around the new price if it opened more than Restart at a gap of % away.
- TP / SL
- Optional: close everything and stop at this share of the amount made or lost.
Example
NVDA at $180, step 0.8% while open, 10 lines, $1,000: lines about $1.44 apart, each order about $100. On Friday evening (Pause) it stops opening positions; on Monday the gap guard waits 30 minutes, and if NVDA opened 3% higher it lays the grid again around the new price.
What can go wrong
Weekend gaps still happen.
The guard and Close before the weekend limit them; they do not remove them.Only stock and commodity markets.
For a crypto coin use a Grid or Volatility grid.
