Already have a TradingView strategy or a signal bot?
More
Its alerts can become real orders in seconds.
Open the Signal bot. In Bots, find Signal bot (under Trend & signals) and press Configure, then Continue and Set up the Signal bot. Or go straight to rivemont.xyz/bots/signals.
Press Start Signals. Under General set the largest order; under Risk the max total leverage and the max signal age. Press Create webhook and copy your private webhook link right away: it is shown only once.
In TradingView, make an alert. Paste the link as its webhook URL and this as the message (the Alert message tab has it, with a Copy button).
{"coin": "{{ticker}}", "action": "long", "usd": 200, "timestamp": "{{timenow}}"}What each field means. coin: the market; TradingView's {{ticker}} works, BINANCE:BTCUSDT.P too, and ticker may replace coin. action: long, short or close (buy, sell, exit and flat work too). usd: the size of your position in that coin, in dollars (its value, not margin or coins), so the same alert twice does not double it and close takes it to zero; leave it out to use your largest order. timestamp: when the alert fired (TradingView's {{timenow}}); an alert older than your max signal age is refused. Leave timestamp out and the age is not checked.
Every alert becomes an order. The Signal bot's page lists each alert and what happened to it; Failed signals lists the refused ones with the reason. It has no backtest: it places what your alerts say, so check the size and the stop each alert uses.
What can go wrong
Keep the link secret.
Anyone with it can send orders (within your limits). Leaked? Open the ⋯ menu on the Signal bot's page and choose New webhook link: the old one stops working.Orders are never bigger
than your largest order, whatever the alert says.Lost the link?
Choose New webhook link in the same menu and paste the new one into your alerts.
