What was tested

• Splits $2,000 into 24 orders on price lines from $216.27 to $280.09, one every $2.659.
• When the price drops to a line it buys; when it rises one line higher it sells. Each buy-then-sell earns about 1.23% before fees (1.12% after fees), again and again.
• Trailing up: when the price rises above the range, it restarts the grid around the new price.
• It starts by buying some xyz:NBIS now, so it has something to sell as the price rises.
• If the price falls below the range, it closes everything and stops.
• Uses at most $1,000 of your Hyperliquid balance (2x leverage).
• The grid's range is centred on the price on the test's first day, as the Balanced preset centres it on the price when you start.

Market hours and volatility

NBIS follows a US stock market price. Hyperliquid quotes it around the clock, but most of its moves come while New York is open (9:30 to 16:00 New York time, Monday to Friday), and it can jump when trading opens after a night, a weekend or a holiday.
