Trailing entry bot

A Trailing entry bot waits for a better entry.

More

In Rebound mode it follows the price down and buys once it rises a set % from its lowest point. In Chase mode it keeps a maker order at the best price and moves it with the market.

When to use it

When you have decided to buy (or short) but want to avoid buying in the middle of a fall, or to pay the maker fee.

Settings

Every bot trades in your own Hyperliquid account. In the setup you pick the market, the amount and the leverage; Safe, Balanced and Aggressive fill in the rest from the coin's own volatility, and Customize settings opens every setting below. Rivemont's fee is from 0.1% per fill, lower with your 30-day volume, plus Hyperliquid's own trading fee.

Entry
Rebound or Chase.
Activation
Rebound: optional price at which it starts following.
Rebound
Buys once the price rises this % from its lowest point (the mirror for a short). Larger: surer of the turn, later entry.
Max chase
Chase: gives up when the price runs this far from the start.
TP, SL, Trailing and Start again
Its exits once in, and whether it starts again after one.

Example

BTC at $100,000, rebound 1%, $500. BTC falls to $97,000 then rises: at $97,970 (1% above the low) the bot buys $500, about $2,000 under where it started.

What can go wrong

  • The price may never turn, or turn and keep going without it in Chase mode once past its limit.
